The Old Lambing Yard
Luxury boutique rooms within the village of South Dalton, just 500 yards from the pub, with ample residents’ parking. Each is named after a breed of sheep, as befits a lambing yard.

Good to know
As an inn with a dining reputation, we reserve a table in the restaurant with every room booking. There is no need to book a table separately; exceptions only by special arrangement.
The full breakfast menu is served at the Pipe and Glass. Or a continental breakfast brought to your room, if you would rather not get up.
Fold-away beds, miniature bathrobes, children’s toiletries and the Little People’s menu. Please bring your own travel cot. We have no babysitting or baby-listening service, so book the earlier sitting.
Bookings open a year in advance and are released a month at a time, on the 1st of the month. Room rates include breakfast; we don’t offer a dinner, bed and breakfast package.
One Tesla and one universal charger at the pub during opening hours, and a fast charging station five miles down the road.
We can’t accommodate pets in the rooms, the bar or the restaurant. Dogs are welcome at the picnic benches at the front of the pub, and assistance dogs always.
