We’re a Michelin-starred Yorkshire pub, with a traditional bar and real ales, boutique rooms and a private dining suite.

The Pipe and Glass sits on the edge of Dalton Park in the village of South Dalton, eight miles from Beverley. James Mackenzie runs the kitchen, Kate runs front of house, and they have done since 2006.

A garden where every plant is edible.

Garden designer Stephen Bean drew it from one circle, the round table, outwards. Pick a herb to see where it is on today’s menus, and which room is named after it.

The Garden Rooms are named after the herbs outside their doors. The Old Lambing Yard, 500 yards up the village, names its rooms after breeds of sheep. Book a room and your dinner table is reserved with it.
